‘World Has Been Dying for’ Trump’s ‘Kind of Leadership’

WASHINGTON – Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Breitbart News that his conversations with Middle Eastern leaders suggest a “strong desire” in the region to see the historic Abraham Accord expansion, and that the world is shocking President Donald Trump's return to the White House.

“I think there's a strong desire,” Rubio said when asked if he thought he could mediate the deal to expand Abraham's agreement to include countries like Saudi Arabia. “I think what was behind October 7th was an effort to stop that happening. Neither the Earth's government nor the nation was involved in having Hamas do it on October 7th because Abraham Accord is less surprised than Iran. But I think there are many countries that love to enter Abraham's Accord. Account. But assuming that happens, I think you'll see more countries that have been one of the most historic advances in Middle East peace for decades and are now in the Abraham agreement that has been widely laughed at by the Democrats. Incidentally, when it first happened. We've seen more and more countries now, and quietly, they're quiet about it, so we don't want to say who they are yet, but we're saying more and more countries are coming out and wanting to join from regions, including Africa. So I think that's something we can build. For me, it's one of the great developments of the term.”

Rubio sat at the State Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. on Monday evening for a long-term interview with Breitbart News. In this exclusive interview, Rubio sponsored another resolution that day calling for the end of the war by voting against a Ukrainian-led resolution at the UN to condemn the Russians for the war in Ukraine. He also spoke about the outline of peace negotiations between the Ukrainians and Russians, and both countries noticed in interviews. Ukrainian national media reference Interviews, and then Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who responded warmly, according to Russian state media.

In this interview, Rubio discussed efforts to “peel” slightly from China to Russia and the broader US strategy to combat the Belt and Road Initiatives of the Chinese Communist Party. Beijing also officially responded to Rubio's comments on this front, accusing Rubio of destined to fail from their perspective.

The fact that two of the world's most powerful countries, the Russians and the Chinese, responded to this interview, shows how the huge pictorial changes that are actually happening in Trump's Washington are shaped in such a long-form discussion. In the final part of the interview, when asked how the world is excited about Trump returning to the White House for a month for this administration, Rubio said the world enjoys having Trump there.

“They are excited to have a very transparent president first,” Rubio told Breitbart News in an interview Monday. “That's what President Trump is about. You don't have to wonder what he's thinking. He'll tell you. He says it openly. He says it publicly. I've never seen a more professional media president. Everything he does, he wants it to be more transparent and a full perspective on the world. Today, while I'm sitting with you, I was sitting in a meeting with President Macron and then held a press conference with President Macron. You see it happening. I think people are excited about it. They're also excited to have a president who has not only clarified, but also common sense. It brings a level of common sense and maturity, that is, seriousness, to foreign policy. It's something that brings to us the interests of our national interests. It involves defining what it is. I know this is kind of simple, but foreign policy works best when everyone clearly defines what their national interest is. When our national interests are in conflict, it prevents the fierce work of diplomacy from happening to manage conflict and it. President Trump sees the world that way, whether it's economics or geopolitics. I think the world is excited to have it because there are people who aren't going to lecture on ideology. He lies in the very simple common sense that it makes sense for your country and our country here. How can we cooperate? And if there is a problem, how can we work in a way that respects both sides? I think the world is dying for such leadership.”

Interestingly, several founding media organizations have completely misunderstood Rubio's State Department to date. Washington Post Rubio has published an inaccurate story about USAID's funding to Haiti, which he claims to have cut money. Additionally, Politico recently released a big story that Rubio claims he is not actually in charge of at the State Department. Politics piece Rubio is somehow a globalist and appears to be operating under the false perception that he is being castrated by Trump, but since the 2016 election, if he followed Rubio as much as Breitbart News has been in the past few years. They will know that this story is very untrue.

Asked specifically about these two fake news from founding media, and more widely about the failure of facility media, Rubio said these were the reasons why such organizations are “dying” and predicted that they would ultimately be completely replaced by places like Breitbart News.

“That's why the founding media is dying. Unfortunately, it has lost all credibility,” Rubio said. “Something will replace it. You guys replace them, others replace them. That's why we're doing a lot of these interactions and interviews over the years. It's not a bunch of stupid gotcha questions, it's a serious discussion about foreign policy. They're still there and we're still involved with them. We'll talk to them too. But in the end, I think some of the things they're putting out there, it's more of a problem for us than we do. There are some misleading things that lead to some confusion and concerns, and we'll get over it, but it's going to stop our work. No. The truth in the matter is, when you go, I think President Trump understands that they will never become his fans, but he has already won despite them. He doesn't need them. We're going to work, and we're going to be judged in the long run by what we've achieved. It's not by what they say in some articles tomorrow, but it's insufficiently procured and often blatantly biased to create negative headlines for the administration. For the overwhelming majority of Americans, everything we do makes sense. That's common sense.”

Rubio also reflects the importance of his decision to travel to Western hemisphere countries such as Panama and other Central American countries in this final part of his interview with Breitbart News, not to go to Europe, Asia, or the Middle East, but to the Caribbean countries on his first trip as Secretary of State.

“Of course, part of that is to end this migratory bird crisis, when I see one of the big things President Trump has been elected,” Rubio said. “So look at the countries I visited. Almost all of them were part of the migration route, whether it's Panama, part of the Darien Gap, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, or part of the immigrants. These are all countries where immigrants come, and in Guatemala, our southern borders started in Mexico. They're way down in the Darien Gap. In the Dominican Republic, it's the pro-US government that shares Hispaniola Island with Haiti, so they're affected by the Haiti crisis. They also have immigrants and drug traffickers reach the US. Although they are influenced by other countries that are trying to pass through the Dominican Republic to do so, they are great partners, so it makes sense to visit them and talk to them. It is the hemisphere where we live. Whatever happens, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, these will always be our neighbors. They will always be our neighbors. They will not be able to move to another continent. So, whatever happens in these countries, for better or worse, it will affect us. El Salvador, we have a great American great president. In Panama, [we have] Great pro-American president. In Guatemala, [there is] A president who wants to work with us. Costa Rica [has a] A pro-American president. Same in the Dominican Republic. So, yeah, we're going to pay attention to our friends, our countries we want to help. It has been missing for a long time. A good place to start. I was able to hold all the meetings in Spanish, which saved the interpreter. This is also useful. We thought we were going to get really good results from those visits. ”
