Senator Lindsey Graham, Rs.C. called on Friday Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelenkiy to resign after a disastrous oval office meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
“He needs to step down and send someone that we can do business or he needs to change,” Graham, a longtime defender of Ukraine and foreign policy hawks, told White House reporters.
South Carolina Republicans called Friday's meeting “a complete disaster.”

“I have never been proud of the President before, and I was extremely proud of JDVance's stand up to our country,” Graham said.
He denounces Zelenskyy's “disrespectful” oval office display, saying, “I don't know if I'll be able to do business with Zelenskyy again.”
According to the senator, he does not think Americans view the Ukrainian president as someone who feels comfortable “entering into business” following the aired conflict.

“The way he took charge of the meeting, the way he stood up to the president was right up there.”
Graham emphasized that Ukrainian-American relations are “crucial.” However, he questioned whether Zelenskyy could “do business with the United States.”
“After I saw it, I don't know.”
