Ukrainian President Voldimir Zelensky sent a message of reconciliation Friday afternoon after being booted from the White House following a passionate discussion with President Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

It was not immediately clear whether the tweet was planning to post before the conflict between Trump and Vance.

The message came out just 40 minutes after Zelensky was usttish from the White House on Trump's order following their arguments.

Following the meeting with Trump, Zelensky canceled a planned event at the Hudson Institute think tank, but was still scheduled to sit for an interview with Fox News chief political anchor Brett Bayer, which airs at 6pm.

The Ukrainian president also spoke on the phone with France's Emmanuel Macron, whom he met with Trump on Monday, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Latte during the financial era.

As Trump's base supported the president's actions in Washington, European leaders similarly jumped to Zelensky's defense.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda wrote to X, “Ukraine, you will never walk alone.” [sic] Russia attack. It fights war with the help of many friends and partners. We need to escape efforts for just and lasting peace. Diplomacy is an art that is impossible in difficult situations. ”

Ursula von der Leyen of the EU Commission wrote in the Ukrainian X: Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You will never be alone, dear President [Zelensky]. We will continue to work with you for just and sustainable peace. ”
