Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) praised President Donald Trump, who “given a masterclass on how to stand up for America” after making “disrespectful” comments from the White House several times.
As Katherine Hamilton of Breitbart News previously reported, Zelensky's comments were “in front of the media before a planned private speech and the expected signature of the mineral trade under discussion.”
After Zelensky was kicked out of the White House, the White House “confirmed” that Zelensky had not signed a mineral trade, and Trump issued a statement on the true social statement that “President Zelensky determined that he was not ready for peace if the US was involved.”
Today we had a very meaningful meeting at the White House. Under such fire and pressure, many things have been learned that could never be understood without a conversation. It is surprising that it comes through emotions, and President Zelensky decided that if America was involved he was not ready for peace. I don't want any advantage, I want peace. He downplayed the United States in his precious oval office. He can come back when he is ready for peace.
in post On X, Graham shared a video of an interview he had on Fox News, responding to the meeting, saying that he “had never been more proud of President Trump.”
“I've never been proud of President Trump for showing Americans and the world. You're not a trivial thing with this guy,” Graham said. “He's very positive and very bright. He wanted to get a ceasefire, he wants to end the war and Zelensky felt he needed to feed Trump in his oval office. JD was great.”
