German automaker Volkswagen recalls more than 60,000 electric vehicles in the US, affecting both Volkswagen and Audi models.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday that the recall vehicle could not display the location of the gear. He said this could cause the car to roll if the parking brake is not involved, increasing the risk of a crash.
The recall will affect the Audi Q4 E-Tron and Volkswagen ID.4. Both are completely electric models.

According to Volkswagen's Safety Recall report, the issue with gear indicators stems from software issues.
The automaker noticed the issue in August after five incidents outside the US.
Earlier this month, Volkswagen issued another recall. It said that the Balview camera was not displayed properly, which would affect around 30,000 vehicles in the US.
The recall mainly affected the Audi Q3, with several Volkswagen Tiguan and Alteon cars.
