Saturday marks a month since 67 people died after a commercial plane collided with a helicopter while landing at DCA airport in Washington, DC.
Among them were members of the figure skating community who returned from the Kansas tournament.
During a home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Washington Capitals honor the victim by decaling helmets. Tampa Bay players will also wear them.

6 members of Skate Clubs in Boston On board Flight 5342, US figure skating said in a statement that “several members of our skating community” were on the plane.

The Kremlin confirmed that two former Olympic athletes, Evgenia Sishkova and Vadim Naumov, were also among the victims of the crash.
60 passengers and four crew members were on American Airlines flights, and the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter had three soldiers.
