Texas middle schoolers shared needle in tattoo sessions — in front of oblivious teachers

Texas middle schoolers passed the shared needle and took part in a massive number of tattoo sessions in the classroom, but their unaware teacher continued their lessons, infuriating their parents.

Young people reportedly use temporary ink to carve each other's bodies with shared needles on Tuesday, officials ignite concerns they may have injected the disease.

“How about these kids have tattoos in their class, and how about one teacher not realising it?” Angry mother Ashley Armstrong It happened on Fox 4 News.

Armstrong's 11-year-old son Jordan used a Darris to scrape “I Heart My Lord” all over his forearm, and handed the “JC” to his hand on Tuesday while in Travis Intermediate classroom in Greenville 50 miles northeast of Dallas.

Jordan claims that one boy approached him and offers to tattoo him. The needle was “shared several times from one class to another,” Armstrong told the outlet.

The nurse called Armstrong to notify her of the surprising incident and warned her to have a blood test immediately.

Luckily, this test has returned to negative for any illness. Armstrong told Jordan “he knows well,” but questioned how the teacher allowed minor tattoo sessions.

“It's the same as a needle, so I don't care if it's temporary ink or not,” Armstrong said.

“This affects him and it has a serious impact on him. I'm not in any of them.”

Greenville ISD confirmed the strange blunder on Thursday, saying it had stopped several teachers assigned to the classroom where an ongoing investigation occurred.

“Greenville ISD is aware of the incident at Travis Intermediate School, in which students gave each other tattoos using the same needles as temporary ink,” the district said in a statement.

It is not clear how many teachers were stopped or they knew that tattoos were going on. The district did not say how Hare entered the school.

It is also unclear how many students are involved in the tattoo session, but Armstrong said more than dozens of parents reached out to her to say the kids were inked.
