Brett Favre calls Zelenskyy’s White House interaction with Trump ‘unreal’

NFL Hall of Fame Brett Fabre called Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky after Friday's meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

The conference was intended to announce that Trump was in its final stages and mark progress towards peace negotiations to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, in order to promote potential deals to send Ukrainian rare earth minerals as compensation for aid from the start of the war.

However, the conference erupted in White House debates seen around the world as many conservatives criticize Zelensky's actions in the White House after receiving billions of dollars in aid from the US.

Favre joined the conservative list by posting on X on Friday shortly after the meeting.

“This was a bit unrealistic to watch. Foreign leaders talking to the US president sitting like this,” Fabre wrote in response to a clip of the discussion. “Donald Trump and JD Vance are standing up for America.”

Fabre has been a Trump supporter throughout his presidential political career. Trump's latest praise for Favre was met with a largely supportive response in his response, but so are some criticisms.

Former MLB player John Locker responded to Favre. “It's hard to believe this has happened,” Locker wrote.

Chargers' Jim Harbaugh on the controversial tash push: “Get it good or stop it.”

Another user said, “I love seeing world leaders happy to take responsibility for Trump and Vance fighting for America's interests. We're no longer apologizing for putting America first and showing the world what we're making.”

However, some users have kept them out of the way to criticize both Fabre and Trump.

“Imagine Zelensky trying to tell them that Putin is full of s – and instead of listening they are defensive and insulted? They don't get praised for their backbone and values?” one user wrote accordingly.

Another user wrote, “Flip through DIPS—JD Vance doesn't know when to stay quiet. The president and vice president should not talk to leaders of other countries as he loves him about the details he lives every day.”

meanwhile Zelenskyy's visit to the White HouseVance said the path to securing peace between Russia and Ukraine is through the US, which is engaged in diplomacy. Zelensky then sought to engage in a line of questions about Russia's moves and diplomatic attempts since 2014.

“I think it would be rude to see the President in his respect and come to the oval office to try and litigate this in front of the American media,” Vance told Zelensky. “Right now, you're forced to draft military forces to the forefront because of talent issues. We need to thank the President for trying to put an end to this conflict.”

Zelenskyy later said that “everyone has problems even you have” under the war, and that the US would feel war “in the future.”

“You don't know that,” Trump replied, as he told him, “God's blessing.”

“Don't tell us what we're trying to feel,” Trump continued. “We're trying to solve the problem. Don't tell us what we're trying to feel.”

The president also said Zelensky was “gambling with World War II.”

The Oval Office Exchange led to a cancelled press conference, where minerals were treated from the table and Trump called on the Ukrainian president to leave, White House officials previously confirmed to Fox News Digital.
