Deebo Samuel’s simple message to 49ers after trade to Commanders

Divo Samuel is a man of a few words on his way out of San Francisco.

Samuel has decouped a long, heartfelt goodbye message to 49ers fans with pen, and has given some athletes the ability to post video montages of his favorite moments with short captions, making it possible for some athletes to do it.

“Thank you for everything!!!!” Samuel I wrote it on Instagram.

The 49ers agreed to trade Samuel for the commander on Saturday for their fifth draft pick at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Samuel, 29, announced that he had requested a deal during Super Bowl Week.

One of the NFL's most unique wide receivers is Samuel's ability to be a force to run from time to time, leaving Samuel away from the worst full season of his six-year career with the 49ers.

He managed just 806 yards from the scrimmage. This is less than half of what he got during the breakout of the 2021 season (1,770), a big drop-off from 2023's 1,117 yards.

The commander will pay Samuel's full $17.55 million tab in 2025. This was his final year before free agency.

Samuel's video montage began with footage from the moment he was notified by general manager John Lynch and notified that he would be 36th in the 2019 draft.

It included a touchdown on his highlight reel and tackle break effort, and a celebration after winning two NFC championships, but the 49ers were short on the Chiefs in their Super Bowl appearances.

DJ Khaled's “God Did” was Samuel's chosen song to represent his time with the 49ers.

Commander General Manager Adam Peters was Lynch's right-hand man throughout the 2023 season when Samuel was drafted.

He clearly believes that Samuel, who Samuel, who has fought injuries throughout his career, showed last season, has more left in the tank.

The commander lost in the 2024 NFC Championship Game when rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels fired a pass to Terry McClaurin.

As the team tries to take the next step, there are other diverse weapons in the attack.
