Pisho, covered in tattoos, was accused of killing seven people and injuring dozens more in 2022 when a parade attendant near Chicago pleaded guilty on Monday on July 4th.
Robert E. Crimyo III, 23, retracted his previous innocent plea for the numerous murders and attempted murder in a shooting in Highland Park.
Crimyo, wearing a dark suit, sat quietly beside a lawyer at Lake County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors initially charged him with 21 counts of first-degree murder (three counts for each person murdered) and 48 counts of attempted murder. The non-severe 48 counts of batteries, which had been exacerbated by prosecutors, fell before the selection of ju judges began last week.
He is scheduled to be sentenced April 23rd.
