Elon Musk, Medicaid fears seized by Dems in new anti-GOP ad campaign

First on FOX: The group closely tied to Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries (DN.Y.) has spent millions of dollars on a new advertising campaign against 23 lawmakers, accusing Republicans of trying to steal medical care from seniors and children.

The ad, which begins its run on Monday, slams Republicans of “threatening healthcare for 37 million children, kicking seniors out of nursing homes, enriching billionaires like Elon Musk.”

Fox News Digital saw the first list of 23 Republican lawmakers targeted by the House Maily PAC (HMP), a fundraising effort in line with Democratic leadership.

The majority of them won close races in California, Pennsylvania, Arizona and other states that were important to win a majority like the GOP's razor in the 119th Congress.

Mikesmith, president of HMP's Action Arm House Majority Forward, linked ads to Republican votes last week, moving forward with President Donald Trump's agenda through the budget adjustment process.

“Last week, Republicans betrayed the people of America. They broke their promises and paved the way to throw millions of men, women and children into health insurance,” Smith said. “We make sure that all Americans know exactly who is responsible.”

The 23 House Republicans targeted are:

This is part of Democrats' continued pushback to the $880 billion cut proposed in the cut, which Republicans are seeking programs under the House Energy and Commerce Committee jurisdiction.

Republicans are looking for at least $1.5 trillion cuts in government spending, offsetting the costs of Trump's priorities that are expected to be included in the bill.

GOP lawmakers consistently point out that Medicaid and other federal aid programs are not mentioned in the texts in their legal framework.

Republicans argue that they are just trying to eradicate federal waste, fraud and abuse. Trump told reporters last week he wouldn't touch Medicaid.

Mike Marinella, a spokesman for the House Republican Campaign Division, is a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), who told Fox News Digital in response to HMP: They know that. ”

But Democrats and some moderate Republicans are skeptical that they can find savings without diminishing those programs deeply.

Democrats also appear to have found a potential new boogeyman in Musk ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. He and the Government Efficiency (DOGE) are working to find at least $1 trillion cuts in the federal bureaucracy.

HMP's advertising strategy was first reported Punch Bowl News last week.

And the NRCC pointed out the digital version of Fox News Digital last week in a memo that accused Democrats of weaponizing votes on the Trump Budget Bill.

“They turned their backs on the working class and took wrecking balls into the future of America's finances. This vote is the ankle around the ankles of a Democrat in a vulnerable home, and the NRCC plans to weaponize it to ensure they lose the race in 2026,” the memo said.
