Pope Francis suffered from “two episodes of acute respiratory failure” on Monday, the Vatican announced.
“Non-invasive mechanical ventilation has resumed in the afternoon,” he added in the statement. “The Holy Father has always been vigilant, oriented and supportive. His prognosis remains protected.”
The candles left outside the Agostino Gemelipoli Clinic in Rome have been hospitalized by Pope Francis on Monday, March 3, 2025, starting Friday, February 14th. (ap/mosa'ab elshamy)
