Despite being “pushed out” from the White House on Friday, Volodymyr Zelensky revealed he is still “ready to sign” the US-Ukraine mineral trade.

Following a discussion Friday meeting with President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leaders, Zelensky told reporters, “I just repeated that I wanted it.”[s] Ukraine's position is being asked. ”

“I want my partners to remember who the invaders are in this war,” Zelensky hints that President Donald Trump is on Russia's side.

Nonetheless, Zelensky said he was still ready to sign a mineral trade, adding that “a ceasefire without security guarantees is dangerous to Ukraine.”

“The Ukrainians need to know that America is on our side,” he added. “I want the United States to stand on our side more firmly.”

The mineral agreement was encouraged to pave the way for future security guarantees between the two countries through economic incentives. But after fallout at the White House on Friday, it stayed in Limbo. There, Zelensky was asked to leave without signing the contract.

Meanwhile, Zelensky is now trying to turn to Europe as an alternative to security guarantees from the US. “In the near future, all of us in Europe will shape our common position.

“These positions will be presented to our US partners.”

After the meeting, President Trump said Zelensky could return to the White House when he was “prepared for peace.”

However, the lasting peace deal between Russia, Ukraine and the United States appears to be farther now after President Trump responded to Zelensky's statement on Monday. Zelensky said the road to peace is “still very, very far away” and suggests he prefers to continue fighting the ongoing war.

“Ukraine has a strong enough partnership with the United States,” he continued to receive US aid.

Trump responded quickly, highlighting his harsh attitude in the accusations conveyed by Zelensky. This also urged the president to respond negatively on Friday.

“This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelensky, and America won't hold it in for much longer! That's what I was saying. This guy doesn't want peace as long as he has American support. Europe completely stated at a meeting with Zelensky that they can't work without the US. What are they thinking?” Trump wrote Monday.
