Pat McAfee, who called Canada a “terrifying country” at the WWE Exclusion Room event in Toronto on Saturday night, continued to ring towards her US north neighbours on Monday.
McAfee publicly torched Canadians on Saturday night after the US national anthem was booed. This is a common occurrence at a recent sporting event following President Donald Trump's rhetoric of the “51st state”;
“This is the most stacked removal chamber WWE has ever had,” McAfee said on his pay-per-view broadcast. “It's sucking that it's in the terrible country of Canada that booed our national anthem to start off with this.”

McAfee was ridiculed for his comments and stated that he saw “the scary thing that was said about me” on his “Pat McAfee Show.”
But that didn't discourage McAfee from explaining why he said what he said – and he still supports it.
“Now, Canada, listen, there's something that Canadians said to me. I think you respect me because of your passion for your country. I hope you understand that I was showing the same for me,” McAfee explained on the show. “You booed my country.”

“Now I understand that from Canadians they have far more passions than I imagine. There are so many horrible things being said about me, and I understand that,” McAfee continued.
“The Canadians didn't say it's bad. Your country said. You booed us. You said it's bad. Let's wave and move together. I still love Canadians… I hope it calms down.”
McAfee posted to X after seeing the backlash he was getting for the comment.
“I am extremely proud and grateful to be from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Canadians have a lot of passion for their country. McAfee wrote In his post.
