The crocodile attacked the woman while kayaking in Florida, a wildlife official said.
The predator bit the woman's elbow while paddling at Tiger Creek Reserve in Polk County on Monday, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. [FWC].
She was rushed to a local hospital, officials said.

Crocodile expert Brandon Fisher says the animals usually avoid kayakers, suggesting that the animal may have felt threatened, especially as it is during the breeding season.
“If you're in a kayak, canoe, or boat, be careful about your surroundings and stay away from these animals,” Fisher said.
“They are apex predators and will protect themselves,” he said. “It's Florida. I know there's a crocodile. It's going to happen at some point. Unfortunately, there's an accident and neither party wants to see this happen.”
