President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that “asgitators” on U.S. college campuses would be permanently expelled or “incarcerated” from school.

Trump made his claim in a post on his true social platform, adding that educational institutions “permitting illegal protests” on its campus no longer receive federal funding.

“All federal funds will be suspended for universities, schools or universities that allow illegal protests.” Trump wrote. “Agitators will be imprisoned/or sent back to the country they came to, and American students will be permanently exiled.

Trump did not elaborate on how the federal government can banish or force universities to expel students.

The post killed around 1,200 people on October 7, 2023, during Israeli war in Gaza following Hamas-led terrorist attacks.

Several students at Bernard University in New York City face disciplinary action last year for breaking into Hamilton Hall on Columbia University's campus.

Bernard, part of Columbia University's education system next to Columbia University's main campus, has banished one student and stopped another, according to Columbia University's Apartheid Dibust Group.

Bernard recently expelled two other students for confusing classes on modern Israeli history. The duo wore scarves to hide their faces when students said they had run into the classroom and threw anti-Semitic pamphlets around the room.

The school says it cannot comment on disciplinary action, but a statement from the school's president states, “…at Bernard, we always do the right thing, but not easy.”

Bernard's Jewish students called on the school because of their lack of urgency in responding to the incident.

“The university has condemned the incident,” Bernard freshman Shoshana Aufuzian said Friday in the “American Newsroom.” “I thought their words were a little unstained. I'm not looking for lip service. I want action.”
