Illegal Immigrants Indicted in Dallas Shooting Case

Two undocumented immigrants have been charged with capital murder in connection with a tragic shooting in Dallas that resulted in the death of an unborn child. The incident unfolded after a confrontation outside a 7-Eleven, as reported by local news. While the 17-year-old pregnant victim survived, the baby did not.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a strong statement following the indictment of the two individuals. “These monsters shot multiple people and killed unborn children,” said Acting Assistant Secretary of State Lauren Biss. “They are facing serious charges, including murder and aggravated assault. It’s a horrific crime, and they should never have been in our country.” Fortunately, Dallas authorities are cooperating with immigration officials to ensure these individuals do not pose a further threat to the community.

Yeremy Alexander Zapata Alemán, a 17-year-old from Honduras, and Kaynor Ariel Carrero Giron, a 20-year-old from Nicaragua, have been implicated in this case. The shooting reportedly occurred around 12:40 a.m. on May 3, following an argument at the convenience store parking lot that escalated into a drive-by shooting.

The victim, who was 22 weeks pregnant, managed to tell authorities about her condition before being transported to a nearby hospital where a C-section was performed. Sadly, the baby did not survive the traumatic events. Police later pursued Carrero Giron’s vehicle, which ended in a crash, and discovered drugs inside the car.

Both suspects are facing multiple charges, including several counts of aggravated assault and possession of cocaine. Carrero Giron additionally faces charges for illegal weapon possession. The case continues to unfold, raising questions about community safety and the impact of undocumented immigration.
