ESPN host Stephen A. Smith challenged Hoopy Goldberg to “The View” during “The View” on Tuesday after the liberal host tried to protect his message by comparing him to President Donald Trump.

“If he gets each two shots each, each 34 felony convictions and think they still elected president, it's not for him to win. It was a charge against the Democrats, something the Democrats dedicated to American citizens. Forget the people who took them there and that's why he didn't lose over the past decades.

Trump critic Smith has not only won, but has regularly criticised Democrats and their messages ahead of the election.

Hoopy Goldberg tries to push Smith back, and wants to remind people what those issues are, saying, “Make sure your family has what they need. Snap, make sure things are there.

She then compared it to President Donald Trump's early enforcement actions, particularly in cutting federal jobs, when Smith pushed back.

“Before you nurtured it, you brought up the message that Democrats are popular. I'm challenging you, that's not what they were doing,” he said.

Goldberg said, “Yeah, that was it. I was here. We did it.”

Smith went on to argue that Biden contributed to the major immigration crisis, and pointed out why former President Barack Obama deported more migrants than Trump.

“The bottom line, you're Joe Biden, you're opening the border. Now, remember that Barack Obama deported more people than Trump. You know he didn't. The immigration crisis,” Smith said.

In the second segment, Smith argued that Trump had a mandate from the American people, pointing to his interests within minority groups.

“If you're a Democrat and you lose 49.8% to 48.3% and you're looking at that 1.5% difference, that's an excuse that what we really did wasn't that bad. We should keep doing it. No, don't keep doing it, we won't find a new strategy,” he said.

Smith said he would ask him to know what Democrats are doing to win future elections, and would continue to interview prominent Democrats and ask the questions.

“I want someone to step up and realize that the guy in the oval office can come, whether you like or not, he can come and find a way to win and you can beat him,” he said.

He also told the co-host who supported former vice president Kamala Harris in the election that the Democrats currently have no real leaders.
