High-ranking White House officials reportedly didn't know Attorney General Pam Bondy's plan to hand over the “Epstein Files: Phase 1” binders to conservative influencers.
Bondi and her team did not talk to White House officials about the plans before the event in February, according to sources familiar with the event. ABC News. According to the outlet, the movement of “disturbed feathers” from some officials close to President Donald Trump.
The influencer is also reportedly surprised to receive a binder containing minimal new information about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. According to ABC News, the White House also contacted influencers who criticized Bondy's decision online.
“Everyone is working together as a unified team in the direction of President Trump,” White House press chief Carolyn Leavitt told the outlet. “The opposite concept is completely wrong.”

According to a post online, there are a variety of conservative influencers, including Tiktok, Jacques Posoviek, DC Draino, Mike Cernovich, Chad Prather and Liz Wheeler, Chaya Raichik from Libs, who received copies of the binder.
In an interview with Sean Hannity on Monday, Bondi said “Track evidence” was delivered after requesting the FBI to deliver the documents by 8am on Friday.
“It's now owned by the FBI. Kash is going to take me with him, and for himself, it's a detailed report on why all these documents and evidence were withheld,” Bondi added. “We'll go through it and we'll go through it as soon as possible, but there are many casualties, so we'll go through it very carefully to protect all the victims of Epstein.” (Related: “The Justice Department fights back”: Pam Bondi vows to defend the presidential authorities, liberal judiciary overreach)
She also said some information will be compiled for “national security” reasons.
According to letter Sent to FBI Director Kash Patel on February 27, sources notified Bondi that the FBI's New York Field office was sitting in a “thousand-page document” related to Epstein. “Despite my repeated requests, the FBI did not reveal the existence of these files. When you and I spoke yesterday, you were as surprised as I learned this new information,” the letter reads.
Patel tweeted that there was no “concealment,” warning of the consequences of the interference.
