Apple unveils newest MacBook Air laptop

On Wednesday, Apple unveiled the latest model of its MacBook Air, featuring faster chip technology and price reductions.

Tech Giant opened pre-orders for their upgraded MacBook Air on Wednesday.

The laptop will come with a starting price of $999 for the 13-inch version, especially for the 15-inch version, and $1,299 for the 15-inch version. This is $100 cheaper than Apple's MacBook Air model released last year.

The new MacBook Air is built with an M4 chip, making it more powerful than previous iterations.

According to Apple, the device is “up to 2 times faster than the M1 model” and “up to 23 times better performance” than the fastest Intel-based version. According to the Cupertino, California-based company, its M4 chips are “accelerating AI-based tasks.”

Tech Giant is introducing a 12-megapixel center stage camera to the new MacBook Air, providing owners with “improved video quality.”

Apple customers can expect the MacBook Air to support “up to two 6K external displays,” the company said.

With the latest MacBook Air, customers also have a new color option: Sky Blue. According to Apple, the other colors available to the laptop are midnight, starlight and silver.
