WASHINGTON – White House press chief Caroline Leavitt accused Democrats of disrupting President Trump's speech to a joint session in Congress on Tuesday night. Called it “the most shameful moment in the history of presidential speeches,” and opposition members said they were “supporting Ukraine, not America.”
Leavitt repeatedly held Trump down and tore anti-Trump-elected liberals who got handheld protest signs through a 99-minute speech – citing preliminary voting data From CNN and CBS News/Yougov Trump's comments show that he was overwhelmingly well received by viewers.
“The Democrats' actions last night were totally dishonorable and showed how badly they were in contact with the American people. It was the most shameful moment in the history of that beautiful room presidential speech,” Levitt told reporters at her regular briefing.
“What appears to be a unifying moment for our country has led Congressional Democrats to instead cried out to the US President, who has only just been re-elected overwhelmingly by their constituents.
Leavitt said the Democrats “can't even applaud for the girl who hit her head on a man on the volleyball court.” The Democrats did not represent an innocent, beautiful child surviving brain tumors. They opposed the elimination of tips and taxes on Social Security. They were not in favor of cutting taxes for hardworking Americans. They couldn't even applaud the two mothers whose daughters were killed by illegal aliens. ”
“One of the only things that allowed me to launch a Democrat last night was to support Ukraine, not America,” continued Leavitt.
“Last night was a very clear moment for our country. Democrats exposed the party that wanted America to be the last, as a crazy party. They allowed their Trump Mad Syndrome to stop them from celebrating America and our people, and we won't allow them to forget it.”
The spokesperson began to tear it down to MSNBC anchor Nicole Wallace, a democratic commentator who previously worked as the White House Communications Director for Republican George W. Bush.
“It's not just Democrats. The mainstream media hasn't gotten it yet,” Leavitt said.
“Last night, MSNBC's Nicole Wallace was tired of attacking the president on January 6th a 13-year-old boy with brain cancer.
“President Trump wasn't split. Democrats had proven CNN wrong by their audience. 69% of them said they had a positive response to the president's speech in a post-speaking poll. It's sad and frankly pathetic that Democrats and liberals in legacy media continue to allow the president to negate their love for our country.”
The president's annual speech to Congress previously was rare. In 2009, President Barack Obama was considered a breach of courtesy and a person in charge. Lauren Beaubert (R-Colo.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)'s 2022 President Joe Biden's Heckling also sparked controversy.
Unlike previous incidents, several Democrats took part in the turmoil on Tuesday night.
Before the president could speak, Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) photographically bombed the Trump entrance and waving a sign that read “This is not normal” on a television camera pursuing the commander down the central aisle of the house's room.
About five minutes after Trump's remarks, Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) cried out that he had “no mission,” despite a decisive victory in the November 5 election.
Green tried to fire each card 2017 Calling NFL players who do not support “Starspangled Banner” and “Son of Bimboys” refused to sit waving a walking cane into the air, urging house speaker Mike Johnson (R-la.) to remove House Arm at at William McFarland.
Other Democrats get their speeches and often make them fast enough to obscure the speakers, such as screaming “January 6th!” When Trump spoke about law enforcement.
About 12 Democrats are holding paddles that say “fake” or “”[Elon] Musk Steele” – Includes Pramira Jayapal (D-Wash.), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY) and Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.).
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) said, “That's a lie!” and “We're starting to pay taxes.”
A large cohort of Democrat women also wore pink. Teresa Leger Fernandez (D-NM) told Time Magazine: “Pink is the colour of power and protest. It's time to revive the opposition and come loudly and clearly to Trump.”
More accidental – including the rep (d-mass.), Sydney Kamlager Dove (d-Calif), Ilhan Omar (d-minn.), and Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) – came out of the speech before it was over.
The protesters ignored advice from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif).
“Whether it's visual or something, the demonstration of disagreement is not gristing the factory to say, 'This is inappropriate,'” the 84-year-old said. Last week's Washington Post.
House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-ny) refused to deal with the turmoil on Wednesday, telling reporters: Republicans are trying to crash the economy in real time and enact the biggest Medicaid cuts in American history. That is unacceptable. ”
Rep. Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), a second House Democrat, appeared to defend the explosion, saying that Trump's comments left her “anger.”
