Tim Kaurishou does not let the “around the corner” drop without putting a little shade.
The columnist for Dallas Morning News and frequent panelists of popular ESPN shows took him to social media and lamented the end of the network's longest-running discussion program.
“That was a good run.” cowlishaw wrote about x. “Enjoy the sports centre at that 5 o'clock.”
Cowlishaw's comments come a day after ESPN confirmed the show's final episode on May 23rd.
The outlet added that the 30-minute edition of SportsCenter will be replaced until a permanent replacement is found.
Former Post media reporter Ryan Glaspiegel reported in November that the show was approaching the end of the show.
“There have been more than 20 years of incredible runs around the horn,” said David Roberts, executive vice president of ESPN and executive vice president of sports news and entertainment, in a statement Tuesday. “That longevity in the media is extremely rare and we look forward to celebrating many of the show's achievements before our final sign-off in May.”

“Around the Horn” has been on ESPN's radio waves since 2002 and has run over 4,900 shows.
Cowlishaw's 2,100 appearances in “Around the Horn” are the second most in the show's history, tracking only Woody Paige's 2,955.
He appeared on the first episode of the show on November 4th, 2002, along with Page, Bob Ryan and Jay Mariotti.
