Kelsey Grammer has great hopes for the future of “Frasier.”
Despite the revival series being cancelled after two seasons of Paramount+, the glamour, 70, told the Post he was “very positive” about the show returning to Season 3 on another streamer or network.
“There's a better home for it,” he said. “I mean, obviously, they didn't actually promote it or spend too much time.”
The glamour explained: “My peers who worked for Paramount Plus left when they first left the show, so they fell to their next administration, lap without real awareness. So I think they gave it a good attempt, but they didn't have any particular passion for the project.”
“We end up in a place where people are passionate about it,” he added. “Listen, it has a huge audience, a big supporter, and if people know where to find it, I think they'll do that.”
The revival of “Frasier” premiered in October 2023, and after the death of his father and the end of his relationship with Charlotte in 20 years, he returned to the iconic Dr. Frasier Crane (Grammer).
The show was cancelled in January 2025, deadline, CBS Studios has plans to shop the series elsewhere.
Not only does Glamour think that “Fraser” will return, but he believes his previous “Cheers” co-star Ted Danson could join him in the revival.
“Ted and I might actually visit something together,” Grammar told the Post. “We've been talking about some ideas, maybe in 'Frasier'. I don't know. ”
Before Dr. Crane reunited with Danson's Sam Malone Onscreen, the glamour, who revealed the real reason that Danson (77) from 30 years old dropped out with Danson, 77, pointed out that “there is certainly still some fields to be mined there.”
“As long as it's still a related relationship, it's still going to be related to the show,” he said. “[Sam] And Frasier became quite close and discovered a few things together about life. They could still do that. ”
But the glamour was confident about one thing. “The 'cheers' aren't coming back,” he said, “I mean, Jimmy Burrows has always been saying, 'No, that bar doesn't exist anymore.” ” he added.
The “X-Men” actor also told the post that the topic of fallout from his friendship with Danson was “disproportionately blown away.”
“There was really no discussion,” he said. “It was one of my life that I actually experienced a lot of self-doubt, self-loathing and honesty.”
“That was when I was drinking a lot. Ted just showed up and said, “You know, I'm sometimes mad at you that you're not ready to go.” And I said, 'Okay, I respect that.' And it was actually kind of thing,” Glamour explained.
Despite not getting as close as he once did, Glamour has only love for his previous co-stars.
“I always thought of him with the most loving memories and affection,” Glamour said.
