Democrats who disrespected Donald Trump in his joint speech to Congress have created an enemy of Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, the country's youngest honorary secret service agent.
“They make me mad,” the 13-year-old cancer survivor told the Post. “If you're going to say something good, you don't need to be there. Honestly, if it's yourself and I was the president, I literally stop what I was doing, escort [disrespectful people] Go outside and get them banned. They are not allowed to come back. My father says you can't reward bad behavior.
“Even if they don't like President Trump, they need to respect their position.”
The DJ, sworn in before Trump's speech on Tuesday, said the confusion by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) had him kicked out of his home room and was denounced by fellow lawmakers on Thursday – was a hit, especially near his home.
“[Al Green] It made us embarrassed. He's from our council district,” said the DJ, who lives with his father in Houston. “I tell him he was very dishonorable and very rude.”
The DJ, who is battling brain tumors, won the hearts of the country when he was elected by the president as “a young man who truly loves our police.” The teenager and his father, Theodis Daniel, a retired Navy man, were also invited to the oval office for a Wednesday sit-in with President Trump.
“I immediately saw him and gave the President a big embrace,” DJ said. “He told me he was proud of me and handed me the signed hat.”
But “I'm not going to wear it,” he added. “It's a collector's item and it's valuable.”
He has become an honorary member of approximately 1,000 police stations across the United States, including those in New York and New Jersey.
“I was at Joysey,” he said, adding a “Sopranos” accent. “[Officers there] I was a little energetic and they rubbed me off. ”
During his VIP visit to Washington, DC, the DJ met many people. And although he's not the person who plays a favorite, “They were all great,” he said diplomatically – especially notable people who hit the chords.
“I was walking around while in the White House and, like a magical one, I came across Elon Musk deliciously. The DJ spoke about the wealthiest man in the world. “He's a party guy and strictly business. He has a hand to fix America.”
When asked if there was a message to the man behind Doge, the DJ replied, “Continue what you're doing and continue doing a good job.”
He isn't too encouraging to Rachel Madow, who called President Trump “nasty” by highlighting him as a cancer warrior.
“If you can't say anything,” the DJ squealed. “And then don't say anything.”
And his message to Trump? “Thank you for saving America.”
