A few days after being accused of vicious child abuse at his Farmington home, he was found dead with a gunshot on his head in New Mexico.

Farmington police said they were looking for interested individuals who left the scene of the Madrid shooting on their bikes before they arrived.
Both Jackson and Madrid faced felony charges of each of the conspiracy to commit abuse and child abuse.
In 2020, Madrid was charged with child abuse, but prosecutors later dropped the charges.
