Woke Paramount Employees Blast Paramount for Rolling Back DEI Policies

Entertainment Giant Paramount's awakened employees group is organized to sign letters attacking the company to announce that they intend to roll back their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies.

Employees bravely announced that the company was “disappointing” that it was pulling back from its previous commitment to left and right policy ideas.

“As employees of Paramount Global, we are extremely disappointed, and not surprising, with the decision of the senior leadership team to roll back our commitment to DEI.” The letter is readaccording to the Fox Business Network.

“This surrender reflects the deep hypocrisy in extracting labor from diverse communities, creating content from diverse communities, and targeting dollars in diverse communities.

Screed was the first Published linkedIn by New York Times Reporter Benjamin Marin.

The company announced in February that it plans to retake DEI's commitment, and the memo said it had made a move to “keep business goals in mind.”

“With our business goals in mind, we will continue to evaluate our programs and approaches, expanding the openings to attract talent from all regions, backgrounds and perspectives. That may mean expanding our existing programs while ending others,” Paramount said.

The move, which is very contrary to previous claims in 2023, is intended to die in Dayhill, and its commitment is unwavering.

But now, in the wake of President Trump's move to end the federal government's DEI policy, employees argue that Paramount is bent over by federal pressure that he characterized as “mob boss.”

“As a private business institution that sits outside the federal structure and operates, we cannot preemptively give in to unethical policies that don't apply to us to curry political favors. If we continue to kiss the ring and repay the mob bosses so that they don't interfere with the business, we will lead us on the path we can't return,” the employee said.

“We are tired of being handed over from billionaires to billionaires, and we don't see the fruits of our labor, instead we see the benefits distributed to the wealthy. Meanwhile, we are forced to say goodbye to countless, great colleagues, after a round of layoffs, throughout the round.

The letter continues to argue that shareholders' interests are placed ahead of the employees' “humanity.”

“We are ashamed to be employees of a company that bulldozes the 'corporate culture' in order to pursue the benefits of myopia. Our company pillars cannot be written in sand, they are wiped off with tide. Rubbing words from company literature does not erase the people they represent. Our staff, our talents, our audience are made up of the very people that this action is wasted and ignored,” they argued.

Employees have finished companies that own CBS, BET, Comedy Central and MTV with “Imploring” “looking at past quarterly dividends and election cycles.”

“We trust them to consider the role they play in shaping and restoring our society. This is a society as diverse and diverse as the staff employed in this company,” the letter concludes.

Paramount has not issued a statement in the letter.
