The co-host of ABC's “The View” has launched a fierce clash over the news that 10 Democrats in Congress have voted for Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, after being dumped into a Congressional joint session from President Donald Trump's speech on Tuesday night.
In Friday's episode, five “view” panelists discussed fallout from the green due to his explosion. One woman argued that Democrats had the right to vote to condemn him, another expressed anger at the action and others declared democratic support for the condemnation.
“They don't know how to fight and become part of the opposition,” declared Sunny Hostin after co-host Joy Behar read aloud the names of the 10 Democrats who voted to punish Green on Thursday.

“View” co-host Sarah Haynes expressed her dissatisfaction this week with Rep. Al Green, D-Texas.
The 10 Democrats who voted to denounce Green were lawmakers. Amiela, D-Calif. ed case, d-hawaii; Jim Costa, D-Calif. Laura Gillen, DN.Y. ; Jim Himes, D-Conn. ; Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa. Mercy Kapter, d-ohio; Jared Moskowitz, d-fla. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash. Tom Suzzy, DN.Y.
Hostin yelled that it would be right to take Trump until Green is removed from Trump's speech, and that Democrats should follow his example, rather than joining the GOP in fake him.
“Representative Green gave them an example. Democrats haven't seen them at the moment. It's very clear that Medicaid is at the table. It's very clear that Social Security is at the table. It's very clear that people die. Baby boomers, civil rights generation, they knew what they had to do.
“This generation of Congress doesn't meet that moment. This is an existential crisis,” the co-host added, suggesting that Trump's agenda is a disastrous threat to the nation.

Griffin opposed Hostin's point, saying “There are a lot of people who viewed the explosion differently, including Democrats.”
She added that all party protests that night were half-hearted and ineffective.
“If you protest and become an opposition, do it intentionally and make sure it works. Keep the signs. Are they advised by people who use it like Windows 98?

Elsewhere, Griffin has abandoned the party's talk of Trump not winning with enough votes to get a “duty” and said, “That's not a victory message you think is.”
Hostin replied, “He has no mission.”
Behar reads a recent statement from Congressman Suozzi on his mission to the panel. Lawmakers urged both parties to adhere to high standards of conduct. Co-host Anna Navarro criticized the concept and doubted the Republicans' bad behavior.

“The problem is, this isn't happening in a vacuum,” she said.
Co-host Sarah Haynes blasted the entire spectacle, claiming that lawmakers on both sides were preventing them from doing their elected work.
“They have jobs, and what they keep doing isn't doing their job. The blame is like a slap on the wrist, and what they want to do is, 'It was him, it was her, that was this.' They fight each other rather than working with each other.
“This is all pathetic,” she concluded.
