Brittany Cartwright shares her side of the story about her blown-up battle with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor.
“Valley” star, 36, On her “When Reality Is A Hit” podcast On Friday, Taylor woke up after saying goodbye in November 2024 in a “terrifying mood” and began “crying” on the way to the appointment of a doctor for his son Cruz. She claims he was on drugs the night before and is hangover.
Cartwright told Taylor not to tag him for a long ride, but as he recently argued, he began to discuss the opening of the bar (not another man).
“Before the man texted my phone, he was already in my throat, he was already making me cry, and I was in the car for at least 30 minutes at that point,” the episode's mother said.
“We almost pulled, so we went outside and called out to Uber and put me and Cruz in Uber.
When another man's phone number appears on the GPS screen, Cartwright said of Taylor: He starts trying to grab my phone and Cruise is in the back seat of his car seat – that alone is horrifying. ”
She recalled that he “reached out,” “grabed” her cell phone and cried out “the most despicable one.” Meanwhile, Cruz was in the back seat.
Earlier this week, 45-year-old Taylor admitted that he “lost it” and “famous with the car” during the fight on Bravo's “Hot Microphone” podcast hosted by executive producer Alex Baskin.
He claims that Cruz is the catalyst to go to rehabilitation, saying, “When I knew, I have a problem. It's still there.”
However, Cartwright claimed that her ex denied that he had problems with addiction that day, saying it was “not true” that led her son to change his way.
After leaving the clinic, she returned home to Uber, locked the door and pointed out that Taylor's sister, her manager, publicist, Baskin, could endanger her former reality television job.
“If I hadn't called all of these people… had his job not been threatened again… he wouldn't have been going,” Cartwright said. “It was a really, really bad situation.”
The real star said the day of conflict was “the same day” when Taylor became a hit and run.
Shortly afterwards, he checked himself into a rehabilitation centre. This was different from the mental health center he went to earlier this year, but “leaved early” 17 days later.
Cartwright says she is skeptical of her ex being calm, but she said on her podcast on Friday:
“I tried for years to help this guy get better, and I was in deep, crazy love for him, so that we could become a happy family. I can't deny that. Do you know? My love was real.”
Saturday, Taylor I took him to Instagram To celebrate 100 days of drinking, along with a photo of him posing and a chart showing him being clean from both cocaine and alcohol during that time frame.
He wrote in the caption, “In 100 days, the rest of my life will go.”
Meanwhile, Cartwright leaned over her friend for support. Earlier this week, she went to Sheanashay's house, a former “Vander Pumpulle” co-star, and saw her in “The Masked Singer.”
“It's been so tough for her the other day, and she's been hit from all angles,” Shay, 39, told Page 6 in an exclusive interview Thursday.
“I think it was a bit of a escape that hangs out with her friend from last night and has this amazing surprise.”
Aside from dealing with Taylor's addiction, exe is also in the process of getting a divorce.
Cartwright submitted last August after five years of marriage and cited irreconcilable differences.
