The recent “Saturday Night Live” Cold Open reported a clash between tech billionaire Elon Musk and Secretary Marco Rubio.
In the sketch, President James Austin Johnson is in Marcello Hernandez's Rubio and an oval office. The president has told the Secretary of State, “We cannot fight Elon.”
“I need you to be my good 'little Marco'.” Say, see The nickname that the president used for Rubio in the past.
In his sketch, Rubio told Trump he didn't support the mask, saying he had “full access to our government.”
“The plane has crashed and he continues to try and fire the air traffic controller,” he adds.
Mike Myers' Elon Musk later entered the scene, telling the tech billionaire that Trump hoped “thank you for wearing your suit this time.”
“He doesn't look good, right? He's a billionaire, but he's a Joseph A. Bank store and gives him a groom,” Trump said.
Rubio and Musk chased each other, Trump in the middle, and the president later suggested, “If you're trying to humiliate each other, at least make them better?”
“It's like Elon, “How do I have 20 kids, but I've never seen you with a chick. I've never seen just a guy named 'Don' and 'Bonner King?'
On Friday, the New York Times reported that Musk and Rubio had clashes at a recent Cabinet meeting. According to the Times, Musk chased after the Secretary of State for not firing most of the State Department, saying he was “good on TV.”
The Times reported that Rubio was “furious” personally along with the tech billionaire for a while. In particular, the government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) manages billions of dollars in more than 100 countries, following efforts to close US international development agencies.
During the Cabinet meeting last week, Rubio was pushed back. He said Musk hadn't told the truth and asked if he should get back the more than 1,500 State Department workers who have entered early retirement, according to the Times.
After Rubio and Musk traveled back and forth between the two and tensions rose, Trump walked and defended his Secretary of State.
Oka reached out to the White House and the State Department for comments.
