During the broadcast of Fox News Channel's “Sunday Morning Futures” this week, President Donald Trump rejected opponents who claimed friction between him and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk.
Trump gave Musk a vote of confidence despite his opponents claiming he was “overstepping.”
“Look, Democrats say Elon Musk and Doge are crossing their boundaries. You're right. Host Maria Bartilomo said, “Half of us were unaware.
“And stop there,” Trump paused. “Look – stop there. What he said – you just said, what he did is incredible. Now you can add some, but he found a fake contract worth hundreds of billions of dollars. And I read them, a small portion of them, a transgender surgery on mice the other day, hundreds of them. I mean, the money they're spending on all of this. The whole thing is scam.
He continued. You're going to find it. What he did was make people realize how many people they should cut. Because you usually get in and you're okay, cut 4% of your workforce. He said he cut 50%, 60% and 70%. That's a big deal. No, he did an amazing job.
