Jet was an absolute idiot in the 2021 NFL Draft. Disappointing that he missed Trevor Lawrence caused the organization to move in hopelessness do not have He earns the second best quarterback in his class, trading everything for Zack Wilson's magical bean platinum blonde cans instead.
Wilson was terrible. The team went ahead, but there was always a lingering question of what could have been done if the team made the right move and drafted Justin Field. Now we can see it being in action.
Fields signs a two-year, $40 million deal that gives him time to show whether he's a long-term option in New York. Ohio.
This isn't the same player field he was struggling under Matt Evals. Fields has made great strides as a play colour for Pittsburgh patients, allowing him to show off his athleticism and big arm blend. Field seemed to be a long-term QB re-signing with Pittsburgh, but both went in a different direction.
For the field, this is a perfect fresh start with his third NFL team. Aaron Glenn is an exciting coach and motivated, able to bring out the best of him, and the Jets still need another receiver after cutting Davante Adams, but they have the cap space to do that.
Most importantly, this is the Jets who understand who they are now. Instead of seeking a ludicrous headline grabbing contract with an aging veteran, they acknowledge that they know that this team will take time and effort. The good news is that the field is just like a young QB who can grow with the team.
Whether he can handle the external pressure that comes with becoming a quarterback in New York is another story.
