NBA best bets, predictions Monday

As the seasons evolve, the betting market will strengthen. That premise comes from the simple concept of accumulating more data points, which makes predictions more accurate.

However, there are scenarios where it makes sense to ignore almost all past results that don't provide most of the baseline.

A major example is Monday when the Dallas Mavericks visit the San Antonio Spurs.

Stars Luka Donsic, Kyrie Irving and Victor Wenbagnama are all gone recently, and have changed all aspects of these teams drastically.

Therefore, I think the power ratings for both teams are soft and fragile. I think this will create a path to build on the 31-17 ATS records in the Postsports section.

In my eyes, Mavs is confused.

They have lost four consecutive games since losing Irving to a season-ending knee injury. It was the final straw in a turbulent stretch that began with the shocking and calm Don Chic trade in the heels of Anthony Davis.

However, the Spurs showed the fight with a 3-7 stretch as Wenby missed the rest of the year, including the 141-124 road retreat and the Timberwolves on Sunday.

Are you going to bet on the NBA?

The main reason for their moderate success is that they still have legal talent for Dearon Fox and have a supporting cast that includes the competitiveness of Chris Paul, Jeremy Sochan and Stefon Castle. They will do their best and refuse to allow any kind of indifference.

That's why I build the point with San Antonio.

Both had to play and travel on Sundays, so the scheduling variables feel like washing. I'm more likely to perform with a stronger roster towards higher standards.

Bet: Spurs-5.5 (-130, Fan Duell)
