Tampa – A scary person has become a reality.
Gerrit Cole will not throw the pitch in 2025 for a monumentally hit Yankee steam team.
Ace received the news of fear. He needs Tommy John surgery.
The Yankees announced their resolve Monday after Cole flew to Los Angeles and received a second opinion from surgeon Dr. Neil Ellatrash.
Elattrache will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
Last year, Cole began one grapefruitrigue before the elbow barged, resulting in a diagnosis of inflammation and edema of the elbow nerve.
This year, Cole continued to start two springs before the same elbow became “uneasy,” Cole said.
Right was knocked on Thursday while out, feeling the hinge gradually painful and knew “something's not right.”
After this winter's opt-out saga, Cole owes $144 million in the final four years of his contract. One of them is already finished.
When he returns, Cole will be 35 and hopes to become the same pitcher on the other side of the operating table.
