The Jets can see a little more of Zach Wilson in 2025.
The former Jet's first round pick is back in AFC East after signing a one-year, $6 million contract with Dolphins on Monday. According to ESPN.
The contract is fully guaranteed and is worth up to $10 million.
Wilson could serve as a potential backup for Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who played just 11 games last season due to injuries issues last season.
Tagovailoa's history of injuries could provide Wilson with a better chance of joining the game next year.
Wilson didn't play for Denver during last year's regular season, so he was behind Bonnix and Jarrett Stidham on the Broncos depth chart.
He was traded for the Broncos in his final offseason by the Jets after Gang Green took Wilson away from BYU using his second overall pick in 2021.
The Broncos refused to get a fifth-year option on his rookie contract and managed to reach free agency this offseason.
Wilson didn't play during the regular season, but he turned several heads by completing 28 passes for 397 yards and three touchdowns during the preseason.

Wilson's current teammate believed the quarterback had done good things during his time in Denver.
Tight End Adam Troutman I told the athletic That was something that was put under from the stress of having to play in New York.
“He came from the toughest media market. You can do a year of stress-free work, learn and say, 'How can you develop as a quarterback?' I think it was amazing for him,” Troutman said.

Broncos wide receiver David Sills told the outlet that Wilson “has all the attributes you want at quarterback,” predicting he would thrive in the league.
“He has insane talent. From the day he got here, I felt like he really had the talent to play in this league and I think he's going to do that,” he said. “I think it's only a matter of time before he becomes one of the top quarterbacks in this league.”
