Wendy Williams hospitalized in New York: police

Wendy Williams was taken to hospital after staff responded to a 911 call at her support facility in New York, Fox News Digital confirmed.

“On Monday, March 10, 2025, the NYPD responded to welfare checks at 505 West 35 Street,” the New York Police Department said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital.

“EMS transported a 60-year-old woman to a community hospital for evaluation.”

According to New York PostWilliams threw a handwritten note with the words “Help! Wendy!!” Outside the window.

Earlier this year, Williams denied that in an interview with the “Breakfast Club” she was cognitively impaired and admitted that her guardianship felt like a “prison.”

Williams has been appointed by the court since May 2022.

“I'm here where people are in the 90s, 80s and 70s,” she said on a radio show. “There's something wrong with these people on this floor.”

Williams said she was under extreme supervision in a care facility and could make calls to make, but people were not allowed to call her.

“Where am I… I have to get the key to push the elevator and unlock the door to get downstairs. Williams admitted that she didn't know the medicine she was given. “Sorry, Doctor, can you tell me the purpose of this medicine?”

In February 2024, the former talk show host team announced that they had been diagnosed with both progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
