On News Nation's “Balance” aired Monday, Rep. Amivela (D-CA) said he believes Democrats should “get away from the culture war” and focuses on economic issues that most people care about, while California Gov. Gavin Newsmom (D) “pivoted a bit” on transgender issues last week.
Bella said: We didn't talk about lowering prices, becoming more affordable for groceries, and lowering energy prices. That's what the American people really want. And Donald Trump spoke about all of them, in his achievements. We must come up with plans and move away from the culture war. ”
He continued. “So I saw the governor make a bit of a pivot last week. It sounds like someone running for president.”
Bella added that Democrats should “stay away from the culture war.” We should talk about what 95% of America care about… how are you going to pay a mortgage? I would like to retire one day, but my mom and dad are getting older. Let's talk about all of that. ”
