D-Ariz. Sen. Mark Kelly, of the billionaire business tycoon, fired fire at Elon Musk after the billionaire business tycoon named the lawmaker “traitor” in response to a tweet that Kelly advocated for US support for Ukraine.

“We have just left Ukraine. We cannot give up on the Ukrainian people. Everyone wants to end this war, but we must protect the safety of Ukraine, which is not a gift for Putin.

“You're a traitor,” Musk replied.

The senator said, “Traitor? Elon, if you don't understand that freedom of defense is the fundamental doctrine that makes America great and keeps us safe, you should leave it to us.”

“As President Trump and Secretary Rubio said, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia is unsustainable and it is the US policy that must be ended. The US will use our leverage, influence and national authority to advance peace and implement sustainable solutions to this conflict, the State Department said.

“The President makes it clear that he is focused on peace. It took effect on March 3, 2025 and we are pausing and confirming that it contributes to the solution.”

When asked last week whether the US had suspended sharing intelligence news with Ukraine, national security adviser Mike Waltz said the US is “suspending and reviewing all aspects of this relationship.”

When President Donald Trump was asked on Sunday if he would consider lifting the suspension of Ukraine's intelligence news, he replied, “Well, we just have.”

The president added, “I hope we will do whatever we can to take Ukraine seriously.”

Kelly's first post on Ukraine was just the beginning of a lengthy message on the topic.

“Donald Trump is trying to weaken Ukrainian hands, and we are owed an explanation. If Putin wins his position, he will not agree to a ceasefire and will ultimately threaten NATO's allies, which put the US military and Americans at risk,” Kelly declared in his tweet.

“If we continue this ridiculous 'screw you, go alone' foreign policy, the world will become a very cold and lonely place. It's stupid and will not put you, your children and your grandchildren in danger. America is the strongest and most prosperous country in the world.
