Florida street takeover thug arrested, accused of being part of mob that stomped on, broke bystanders’ windshields, set fire

Florida authorities arrested a 19-year-old man accused of taking part in multiple street takeovers, including one last November when reported “mob” sparked a fire, harassing bystander drivers and even smashing windshields.

The Florida Highway Patrol told Blaze News that Kissimmee's Adam Ben Outtus was arrested Thursday.

Benouttas was charged with adjusting or promoting street takeovers, filming/recording street takeovers, stunt driving, obstructing traffic in street takeovers, worsening riots, incitement of riots, and disorderly conduct.

Police said Ventus was directly involved in a coordinated street takeover incident that took place at the intersection of South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway in Orlando on November 30th.

Police said the event included harassment of other drivers and bystanders and extensive property damage to multiple vehicles.

The incident was captured Mobile phone video.

The Benouttas were identified as one of the main “sliders” that perform dangerous stunt driving operations such as donuts at intersections during the event, police said.

Police said Benouttas was charged.

According to WOFL-TVAbout 30 people participated in the street takeover on November 30th. And the mother and her baby were in one of the injured bystanders' cars.

The station said it is unclear whether other arrests have been made.
