Golf legend Tiger Woods goes under the knife again, this time repairing the bursting Achilles.
Woods, 49, told fans that his left leg suddenly fell under him while he was training at a Florida home. His left leg is the same leg that he was seriously injured in a 2021 car accident. The injury was so bad he almost lost that leg.
However, his current injury is not so serious. forest I said Fan who underwent “minimally invasive” surgery to repair his tendon on Tuesday, TMZ reported.
“The surgery went well,” said the Woods doctor, “And we are hoping for a full recovery.”
Woods is recovering at home and on Tuesday xPosthe thanked the fans for their wealthy stuff.
It's all another clash in his path to multiple attempts to make a golf comeback.
Woods has not competed yet during this PGA Tour season. He was scheduled to play for the Tory Pines Genesis Invitational in California, but retreated saying he was not ready to play after his mother's death on February 4th.
He underwent microcompression surgery on the lumbar vertebrae last year to relieve pressure on the nerves in his lower back. It was the sixth time he had surgery on his back since 2014.
