ATF whistleblower revels where cartel weapons really come from

The Mexican government sues US gun manufacturers and claims it is designing, marketing and distributing firearms in ways that promote illegal human trafficking across the US Mexican border and promotes cartel violence. Mexico is seeking $10 billion in damages, claiming that between 70% and 90% of guns recovered at crime scenes in Mexico come from the United States.

Is that true?

Former ATF Agent and Author of “The Truth About Unarmed” John Dodson says Glenbeck That's all a lot of lies.

“The only way to track firearms well is if there is a US ties. They were manufactured here or imported to the US at some point. Either way, they were manufactured in the US or imported in the US by such companies,” he explains.

“To say that every major gun that was successfully traced in Mexico is a firearm from US source is something like an equipped ball game. …So the numbers are distorted from the start,” he adds.

What's more, they don't discount them [guns] It was purchased directly by the Mexican government. ”

Dodson, who worked at the border for 12 years in human firearm trafficking, said “70%-75% of crime guns recovered in Mexico” were “direct purchases by the Mexican government” and “considered US sources.”

The ATF explains: [purchases] Of the numbers they did when they spoke to Congress or when they made the information public. They count them all as firearms in US sauce, so the American civilian firearms market is holding bags and blaming cartel violence in Mexico. ”

“So Mexico buys it [guns] From us, and I assume those guns are supposed to go to the Mexican government to fight the cartel. Are these guns moving forward? Inside Cartel's hand? ” Glenn asks.

“Yes, 100%,” Dodson says.

But that's even more ironic.

Most of the money the Mexican government uses to buy these US film guns comes from the US

“The Mexican government says, 'Well, it helps them fight cartels,' so we give them money to buy equipment and weapons. These weapons are purchased directly from the manufacturer, but half of those who purchase them are “bypassing the black market” and falling into the hands of cartel members.

The Mexican government reinstates and turns these weapons at crime scenes, even though the government made the original purchase, denies US gun makers and USD.

“Do you have a serial number that certifies that it was purchased by the Mexican federal government?” asks Glenn.

“100%,” Dodson says.

“This is because of the Mexican government. teeth Drug cartel? Is the Mexican government afraid of drug cartels? Who will push the government to sue gun makers? ” Glenn asks.
