Columbia University's wife says she was treated as a rag in federal detainee. He says he tried to prepare her what to do a few days before he was captured if an ice agent appeared at their door.
“I didn't take him seriously,” Mahmoud Khalil's pregnant wife, Noor Abdallah, told Reuters on Wednesday. “Obviously I was naive.”
Her husband has been the driving force behind many of the anti-Israel protests and has built the acquisitions and camps that have plagued Colombia for more than a year — is under ice custody after grabbing him in his college-owned apartment on Saturday.
Abdallah, a US citizen, was in a Manhattan court on Wednesday as her husband's lawyer fought to stop the Trump administration from pushing for deporting him.
