Seattle Children's Hospital has renamed its diversity, equity and comprehensive initiative to avoid the ban on President Donald Trump, according to whistleblower accounts.

Daily Signals noted that the hospital removed some references to the DEI from the website. However, according to employees, some of the controversial initiatives were not ruled out – they were rebranded under a different name.
For example, hospital “inclusion groups” targeting minority staff are no longer listed on their website, but are reportedly still present.
The workers told the news outlet that they told the town hall on February 26 that they would change naming rules to comply with Trump's orders.
“The Day culture at Seattle Children's Hospital is a culture of terror,” the employee said. “There's a toxic culture of fear because employees are afraid of being accused of racism and religious discrimination, which really holds back freedom of speech.”
“For the past decade, we've become laser-focused on proving that there's a whole-body racism there,” the workers added. “We hope to be able to return to work caring for sick patients, families and children.”

Daily Signal reported that new recruits must complete “diversity and so-called microattack training.”
“It's a shame to see Seattle Children's Hospital, an agency that was pointed out for holding racially segregated diversity training,” Do No Harm medical director Dr. Kurt Miceli told the media outlet.
“Like all hospitals, children in Seattle should focus on providing the best care to their patients, rather than wasting resources on radical political priorities,” Miceli added.
The hospital reportedly stopped providing gender amputation surgery to children in order to comply with the Trump administration. However, it is said to still prescribe irreversible cross-sex hormones.
Seattle Children's Hospital did not respond to Daily Signal's request for comment.
