Liberty star Breanna Stewart undergoes knee surgery

Breanna Stewart from Liberty Star is undergoing knee surgery and is undergoing repairs.

Two-time league MVP Stewart won minor range on right meniscus on Thursday, team sources told the Post.

She is expected to return to court for training camp as Liberty is being prepared for the WNBA title defense.

Stewart shared a photo of himself by threw a sign of peace from his Instagram hospital bed on Thursday afternoon.

“I might or might not retire from my leg sleeves, but I'll definitely remove all that tape, [if you know, you know]She added.

She also praised her team and the doctors who performed the surgery.

She finished the update and wrote, “W In the W.”

Stewart played part of this offseason in the other offseason, a new 3-on-3 professional women's basketball league that he co-founded with Lynx star Nafisa Collier after winning his third WNBA title and his first championship with Liberty.

Thursday's surgery comes three days after Stewart closes her unparalleled season with Mist, who missed the league's first playoffs.

This year we will be recording Stewart's ninth WNBA season and third mark with Liberty.

Last season, she averaged 20.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

Stewart won his third Olympic gold in the 2024 Paris Games.
