Florida has filed felony charges against Mexican citizens for illegal re-entry after being deported. The arrest and charges are the first of the state's immigration violations under a new law passed by the Florida Legislature.
According to Florida State Immigration Executive Committee (SBIE) Director Larry Keefe, a Florida fish and wildlife officer, has arrested Felipe Hernandez Chavalia, 38, for felony trespassing.
