FBI Director Kash Patel has announced that he is investigating multiple swatting incidents targeting conservative media personalities.

Swatting occurs when someone intentionally dials 911 and mistakenly reports a hostage crisis or imminent threat at a specific address, triggering a response from a SWAT team. Swatting can lead to a fatal encounter, as tactical first responders believe they are in their homes to stand up against armed individuals at risk of actively injuring others.
Conservative social media influencer, Gunther Eagleman, infowars“Chase Geyser, conservative personality Nick Sorter and radio show host Joe Pagriallo are among the individuals targeted in the recent SWAT attack, prompting a response from Patel.
“We want to address the surprising rise in the 'swatting' incident, targeting media numbers. The FBI recognizes this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and retain responsible accountability,” Patel wrote in the X-Post Friday.
“This is not about politics. Tracking law enforcement against Americans is not only morally condemned, but also the lives of dangerous people, including our officers. That's not acceptable. We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes. There have been more updates coming up,” Patel added.
Geiser spoke about the event and revealed that he was hit twice separately within 12 hours while attaching video footage.
“I was hit again before 2am, once more, before. Six or eight officers used the PA system to call me by name and ordered me to leave my house. I was handcuffed in the middle of the street, probably at the muzzle, and I couldn't tell because of the light glowing in my face,” Geiser said.
“After that, I was taken to the house where my wife was awakened and informed that they had received a call from someone who was threatening to pretend to kill my family,” he continued.
Salter also revealed that his family wt as “dozens of police officers who tried to kick my father's door with the muzzle.”
“This is literally a terrorist attack, and the FBI should treat it that way. Before calling SWAT, this dumb*** emailed me a Nazi and so the motivation is clear. In my father's case, the caller told the police that my father was demanding that my father kill the whole family and intervene in the deadly force,” Soter wrote in a post on X on Wednesday.
“This is nothing more than an attempted murder. They wanted the police to kill my father. Unfortunately, it won't stop for Swatter. I won't be silent. And you won't win. If anything, my family is behind me more than before. They only saw the army I fight on a daily basis in person,” he continued.
“Your hatred burns me. I'm above my target. As President Trump says: fight. fight. fight. fight.”
Another Pro Trump social media account with over 3.4 million followers on X, known humorously as “catturd,” also revealed that he has “swatte again for the four.”th time.”
“I know all the police here because I don't live anywhere. (Because of past swatting) they knew what it was and just called me and sent the officer I just had a great conversation. A really nice guy. I have the number they called and I'll hand over all the information to the FBI today. My last two swatters are sitting in prison now, this new swatter will join them soon. Oh yeah, never be silent.

Jamie White, a now-deceased journalist, was the victim of the attack.
“The initial investigation shows that Shiwa was shot and killed in the parking lot of the apartment he lived in. The suspect fled the scene,” police said. “Detectives believe the suspect may have interfered with the white vehicle.
