Charlamagne nominates Schumer the ‘Donkey of the Day,’ slams party leadership

Radio host Charlamagne shredded Democratic leaders by choosing to support the spending bill to avoid government shutdowns, saying it showed the party's overall lack of vision.

After a tense caucus meeting, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., has made it clear that he will vote for a short-term spending bill that will be passed in the House, known as the Continuing Resolution (CR), as “closures will be a gift” for President Donald Trump and Republicans.

Charlamane spoke about it about him Breakfast Club Radio Program It's no surprise that Democrats claim to GOP on Friday that they're in the cave.

“The Democrats, which are usually inaction parties, were unable to protect the interests of the American people,” he said. “And you know why Dem sucks messaging? Because they're not talking anything, and they don't do anything.

He said the main issue for the Democrats is ultimately their party leader.

“Dems doesn't just have messaging issues, they have leadership issues. Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries of the world, they should all resign. “How can you say 'The bill sucks', but do you pass it anyway?”

Later on the same broadcast during the “Donkey of the Day” segment, Charlamane nominated Schumer and blows up him and his party. He played a clip of Schumer describing the spending bill as “very bad,” lamenting the fact that he is leading the party.

“Ah, Chuck Schumer, oh, Democrats. A party of inaction. Ah, that's the difference between Democrats and Republicans. One party is about inaction, and one party is about all actions.

He later asked, “So what reason do I have to continue supporting the party of inaction? That story will not change for the Democrats until the people of Democrats change.”
