Democrats Surrender, Hand Trump Government Spending Win

Senate Democrats spoke harshly, but in the end they folded up like cheap tents.

Nine Democrats and one independent teamed up with Republicans to end the discussion and proceeded to the final vote on the ongoing resolution (CR) to avoid closure.

62-38 votes – 60 votes were needed – President Donald Trump's victory, who invested significant political capital for weeks, ensuring that the bill passed the House on its way to the Senate.

Senate Democrats handed over Trump's CR, infuriating House Democrats who were almost united by standing up to the bill. The only House Democrat Jared Golden, who represents the country main district that Trump has won, is the only House Democrat Jared Golden, who died when CR passed the House on Tuesday.

Minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) fueled the rage of a Democrat base earlier in the week.

Schumer announced Wednesday on the Senate floor that Republicans had no votes for their plans. Still, on Thursday he announced he would support CR.

In the end, Democrats received no concessions other than a few revised votes destined to fail.

House Democrat leaders returned to Washington Friday afternoon to oppose the CR. This is Schumer's incredible responsibilities for refusing to make sure Schumer remains the leader.

In a Senate floor speech on victim control before the vote, Schumer said, “The vote before us is Hobson's choice.”

“The CR bill is a bad bill, but as bad as CR, I believe Donald Trump is a much worse option to take more power through government shutdowns,” he said.

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA)'s announcement was that he supported the precedence of Schumer, but the third Democrat announcement did not come minutes before the vote.

Democrats joined Schumer and Fetterman, including Sen. Katherine Cortez Mast (NM), Brian Schatz (HI), Dick Durbin (IL), Maggie Hassan (NH), Kirsten Gillibrand (NY), and retired.

Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) who are members of the Schumer's Leadership team voted against the CR for signs of Schumer's troubles.

But even more importantly, this episode shows the growth of the civil war within the Democrats looking for strategy and spine as they fight Trump's second administration.

Meanwhile, Trump and the Republicans continue to build up victory, and there is no end in sight.

The final passage vote will take place on Friday evening. Only a simple majority is needed.
