Welcoming socks on Sunday afternoons in New York is predicted by heavy rain and whipping winds of 50 mph.
“It looks like an inch or two of rain, and it gets pretty intense. Fox weather meteorologist Cody Braud told the Post on Saturday.
“And as you approach the coast, you could be over 50 mph. You wouldn't be surprised if you gave a wind advice for tomorrow.”
The shower starts on Sundays at around 3pm or 4pm and you may not be too concerned until Monday morning.
The Tri-State storm comes as a fatal tornado wiped out the south and the Midwest, killing 16 people.
“It's going to be some waves. We'll get secondary waves at night,” he said.

“There may be prolonged rain on Monday morning, but it will be lighter.”
More winds could be seen up to the Washington, D.C. area of southern New Jersey.
