According to Atletic, Aaron Rodgers may choose to retire from the NFL if he does not join the free agency.
According to the outlet, the previous MVP reportedly prefers to sign with the Minnesota Viking, as he is reportedly considering offers from the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.
If Rogers doesn't receive an offer from Minnesota, he might retire.

The Vikings have the veteran quarterback opening after last year's starter Sam Darnold signed with the Seattle Seahawks. But Minnesota also has former Michigan champion JJ McCarthy, the team's first round pick in the 2024 draft.
Rogers, 41, is not considered a long-term solution for any team.
Leigh Steinberg, a well-known NFL agent who negotiated multiple Hall of Fame quarterback contracts, told Fox News Digital that he assumes a “positive fit” for Minnesota at this stage of his career, particularly due to his potential protégé presence and McCarthy's presence as a team suitable for winning in the short term.
“So, maybe Aaron is one more year, so maybe he'll play two more years, but that's not a permanent solution, so it's a one-year or two-year fix,” Steinberg said. “So he could go for a really good team, but he could coach a young quarterback just because he needed that last little piece to put them on top.”
Brett Fabre begs Aaron Rodgers to sign a particular team: “The right place to win.”

Steinberg also believes that teams who don't have a chance to win in the short term aren't that good, as they don't have a younger quarterback on their roster. The Giants are a team that suits that type. The Steelers may have had a winning record last season, but they're not a good shoe-in this year either. They also don't have a quarterback for the young project.
“A team that's really unhappy with the quarterback that's taking him will not be positive about the solution,” Steinberg said.
If Rogers receives an offer from the Vikings and ends up signing them, he will follow a roughly identical career path to Brett Fabre, the predecessor of Green Bay Packers. Like Fabre, Rodgers played a large part of his career with the Packers, winning the Super Bowl before being traded with the New York Jets. Fabre then spent the last two years on the Vikings.

Favre offered advice to the Rodgers and encouraged them to sign with the Vikings in an interview on Fox News Channel's “The Will Cain Show” Tuesday.
“I will definitely sign them,” Fabre said. “They got really good football teams. They're loaded into almost every position. They reached the playoffs last year. They've gained an incredible fan base like the Packers. If you get the opportunity, it's a good place to win.
“Of course you have to play the Packers.”
