Dems Aren’t Too Influenced by Teachers’ Unions

In the online “overtime” segment of HBO's “real-time” Friday broadcast, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) denied that Democrats were too influenced by teacher unions, claiming that the party “is deeply concerned about ensuring these kids get shot in life” and “there's there [are] How to work with teachers' unions to advance for our children, as he did as governor of Pennsylvania.

During a discussion about the Federal Department of Education, host Bill Maher asked, “Are Democrats too many in the pockets of teachers' unions?”

Maher then said he was talking about the teachers' union.

Shapiro replied: “We partnered with a teachers' union in Pennsylvania to increase the number of teachers in our classrooms, reduce the size of our classes, improve child outcomes. I think we're there. [are] How to work with teacher unions to make progress for children. ”
